NFC tags

Clock in with a tap

TimeHub NFC tags turn any doorway into a time clock. Employees tap their phone on the tag and TimeHub opens, ready to clock in.

TimeHub Clock in

How it works

Three steps, no hardware to manage

1

Stick it up

Put a tag by the entrance, the time clock spot or the break room. It's battery-free, so there's nothing to plug in or charge.

2

Tap a phone

Employees hold their phone near the tag. TimeHub opens straight away in their phone's browser. There's no app to install.

3

Clock in

One more tap on Clock in and they're on the clock. Breaks and clock-outs work the same way.

Tags vs a kiosk

Easier for employees. Cheaper for you.

Questions

NFC tags, answered

Which phones work?

iPhone XS and newer, and most Android phones with NFC turned on. Anyone without NFC can still clock in from TimeHub on their phone or computer, or use kiosk mode.

Do employees need an app?

No. The tag opens TimeHub in the phone's browser. Employees sign in once and stay signed in.

Does the tag prove someone is on site?

The tag is a fast way to open the clock. To check that people clock in near your location, turn on TimeHub's optional location check, which keeps only the distance from your site, never exact coordinates.

How many do I need?

Usually one for each entrance employees use to start their shift. Many businesses need one or two per location.
